By using the services provided by Regional Energy Heat Cool (“Service”, “we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service (“Terms”).
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Compliance With Australian Law
These Terms are not intended to override any applicable Australian state or federal consumer or competition legislation, including the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Where these Terms conflict with any applicable legislation, the legislation will prevail.
Breach of Terms
Any violation of these Terms may result in:
- Suspension or termination of services
- Additional fees being applied
Payments and Refunds
- Cancellation or rescheduling of a booking may incur additional fees
- Payments are processed via credit card and will appear on your statement
- Tax invoices are issued automatically to your nominated email address
- Refunds are processed in accordance with our refund policy
- Repairs and installations require a minimum 50% non-refundable deposit
- All payments are processed using encrypted, PCI-compliant systems
- All fees are inclusive of GST
- No refunds for change of mind
Cancellation and Rescheduling
- A $99 cancellation fee applies if you cancel a confirmed booking
- A $99 rebooking fee applies if:
- You reschedule within 24 hours of your appointment
- No one is present at the property when the technician arrives
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to suspend or terminate services at any time for any reason.
Modifications to Services and Pricing
- Services, scope of work, and pricing may be modified or discontinued at any time without notice
- We are not liable for any changes to pricing, service scope, suspension, or discontinuation
Copyright and Content Ownership
All content provided by Regional Energy Heat Cool, including website content, emails, phone advice, and technician documentation, is protected by copyright and remains our intellectual property.
Safety and OH&S
- You are responsible for ensuring equipment and premises are safe and accessible
- If equipment or property is deemed unsafe, services may be cancelled or additional fees applied
- Weather conditions may require appointments to be rescheduled for OH&S reasons
Booking and Appointments
- An adult aged 18 years or older must be present for the full duration of the service
- Failure to have an adult present may result in rescheduling and additional fees
- The purchaser is responsible for approving completion of works
- A nominated agent may attend on behalf of the purchaser
- Decisions made by the nominated agent are binding and cannot be disputed later
Workmanship and Warranties
- No workmanship warranty claims will be accepted after 7 days
- Claims must be submitted via email to info@regionalenergyheatcool.com.au
- Workmanship warranties apply only to work completed by our technicians
- Manufacturer warranties differ from workmanship warranties
- Regular servicing is recommended to maintain manufacturer warranties
Quote Terms
- All goods remain the property of Regional Energy Heat Cool until paid in full
- Client is responsible for safe access, including roof access if required
- Work areas must be cleared by the client
- No claims accepted after 3 days
- No returns on parts or materials once installed
- All electrical and cabling work complies with Australian standards
- All parts carry manufacturer warranties only
- No refunds for change of mind
- Servicing of repaired units is not included unless quoted separately
- No warranty is provided on existing or reinstalled units
- Repairs do not guarantee future fault-free operation
General Conditions
- Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis
- Abuse or threatening behaviour toward staff or technicians will result in immediate termination of service
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, to the extent permitted by law
- Any disputes must be raised within a reasonable timeframe
- Service quality concerns should be raised at the time of service
Concession and Cardholder Discounts
- The customer must be the primary cardholder and responsible for payment
- The property must be listed as the principal place of residence
- Discounts remain valid while eligibility is confirmed
- Eligibility may be verified automatically with Centrelink
